This tour was so much fun! Our tour guide Daniel was super – and showed us around like a boss!

The weather was perfect for walking and people watching.

We aren’t locals so it was a great way to taste test Austin food! And what a great deal too – we tasted tons of food!

We were always whisked in like we were VIPS and treated well by the staff. Yeow!

I would say that I almost enjoyed the stories and history of the restaurants more than the food – though some didn’t share any stories – they totally should. It makes the experience that much richer!

We loved our time in Austin today – and look forward to trying other tours soon!

This was a top notch food tour. We did the bicycle food tour which was especially cool because you get to check out food spots in two neighborhoods and cruise around on a nice bike.

My wife and I have done food tours in Chicago and Seattle previously and this was the best one yet. Andy is a very good host and keeps the tour laid back and enjoyable.

This tour is great for Austinites and out-of-towners as well.

I got to try my first Austin Eats tour last weekend, after many months of wondering if it was worth it.

    It’s worth it.

At first I was hesitant to try the South Congress walking tour, because I feel like, “I’ve seen it all; done it all,” but the restaurants will surprise you with some dishes that you may not normally order, and with a wealth of knowledge sure to make you the interesting one during your next dinner party conversation.

There were ample stops (we were stuffed), our tour guide was extremely personable, and it made for one of the best Sunday mornings of my year. It opened my eyes to facts about South Congress that I would have never guessed, and it also made me re-evaluate restaurants that I normally pass by. Grab a friend, or better yet, grab a group of friends, and choose any of their tours. I promise you will have a good time.

I can’t move out of my food induced semi-coma, so I might as we’ll write a review. Hubs and I live in a comfortable, if not particularly sexy, little food cocoon of local Cedar Park favorites that don’t mind my kids throwing chicken strips at each other.
I bought Hubs the South Congress tour so we could remind ourselves there is an entire (cooler, tastier) world south of Braker Lane.

Soooo worth it. We had a large group (15), but were easily accommodated and taken care of everywhere. We tried a variety of food (you can follow my food journey in the reviews/photos written same day this profile). All were generous portions, yummy, and provided over an appropriate amount of time. We were not rushed and the tour guide did a great job of accommodating all dietary requests and preferences.

Would love to do trailer tour soon. When I can fit in my pants again.

Our tour guide, Scott, was awesome! Knowledgeable, friendly, the works! The food was great, the ambiance was awesome too. We’ve been on a food tour before and this one was top-notch!

My friend and I did the food truck tour with Scott as our tour guide. Would recommend this your to anyone who loves food! First off, come with an appetite! You will get A LOT of food!! Good food too. Scott was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food, eateries, and gave great recommendations for the rest of my trip. Would do this tour again in a heartbeat! I’m excited to try some of their other tours they offer.

My wife and I,natives of the Philadelphia area, had a great time on this food truck tour, This is our first trip to Austin, we have been here all week. Scott was a fantastic tour guide. The six food trucks they selected (out of the 800 trucks in Austin) were truly “best of breed”.
