Owner Cody Taylor started his restaurant career at the age of 13 bussing tables at a local restaurant in his hometown of Goliad, TX. Upon moving to College Station he continued his experience working at numerous restaurants, notably Cafe Eccell, where he found his passion in the business. For the past 9 years Cody has been greeting guests at Cafe Josie where he strives to provide a remarkably genuine and memorable dining experience with great service and an imaginative and informative wine program.
Executive Chef Todd Havers found a passion in food at an early age cooking down home southern food with his mother and grandmother. After moving to Austin and attending Le Cordon Bleu, he started working under Chef Charles Mayes at Cafe Josie and honed true farm to table cuisine with Chef Brandon Fuller. Five years later, he’s now creating a playful, Texas inspired menu using the best locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.
