Austin Vampire Ball: Red Death

“The “Red Death” had long devastated the country. No pestilence had been ever so fatal, or so hideous. Blood was its Avator and its seal – the redness and the horror of blood.”
The seven seals have been broken and the legions of Hell have been given dominion over the earth. The horsemen have been sent unto the earth to prepare for the arrival of Lord Lucifer. With this the first of them has made his way to the mortal world to spread his gospel, the gospel of Pestilence.
For the first time since the 14th century, The Red Death had found its way to the realms of men.
What had once been mistaken for a bloody plague was decidedly much more. The terror and horror spread was very much the same as it had always been, but what had gone unnoticed and undocumented before could not be escaped this time, for this plague was not meant simply to bring death but rather undeath.
Those afflicted were changed quickly upon falling victim to its bloody machinations. As they fell so did they rise. The blood lost in them they now hungered to retrieve.
Now they gather as legion, a veritable army of the undead. A new race of Vampires subservient to the Horseman of Pestilence. Some of them retain their former beauty, some more beautiful than ever. Others now exist as grotesque abominations, spreading fear with only a glance upon their malformed features.
The Red Rider of the Black horse has come to gather his army for the great battle as they celebrate and feast, spreading The Red Death to all that cross their path.
