Get ready to celebrate the museum´s 60th anniversary and the Blanton´s new grounds!
At the inaugural major event held on our reimagined campus, you´ll be among the first to experience the museum´s transformation, from bold architectural elements and new art installations to lush native landscaping. Designed by acclaimed international design firm Snøhetta, the project also features several site-specific commissions, including a mural by Cuban-American artist Carmen Herrera, and the Butler Sound Gallery. The new grounds offer a vibrant setting to honor the museum´s 60-year history and envision its bright future.
The Blanton Gala raises critical funds to support the museum´s nationally recognized programs-from thought-provoking exhibitions to inspiring educational initiatives-that serve more than 200,000 visitors annually.
