3:30pm – AC/DC Tribute pt 2 (Saturdays)
May 23 at Empire
10:30am – Rock 101 (Sunday Class)
11:30am – Rolling Stones Tribute
1:30pm – ADULTS: Glam Rock
3:30pm – ADULTS: Aerosmith vs Cheap Trick
All tickets purchased at the door.
Also, as with last season – please read through as there are a few things that continue to be different about this season’s shows:
– In order to support the Empire Control Room through this difficult time, there will be a per “pod” ticket charge for those attending the shows (students attend for free).
– In line with Empire’s COVID Safety Protocol, all guests are required to be seated in “pods”, so tickets will be sold in either groups of 4 or 8. Pods of 4 are $40 per pod. Pods of 8 will be $80 per pod.
– Day passes will be available for $80 (pod of 4) or $160 (pod of 8 ) which give you access to an entire day of shows!
– Tickets will be sold exclusively at the door. You may use Venmo, or exact exact cash only.
– All pods are 6ft apart and start more than 6ft back from the stage. There will be no General Admission standing area and no single tickets available. Mask wearing will be required at all times unless seated at your pod.
– Remember, like a regular seated rock show, it’s first come, first served in terms of how close you will be seated to the stage. Plan out your pods ASAP!!
– Empire have also VERY kindly offered to livestream all the shows through their channel!! There will be a small donation requested to access the stream, and proceeds will go towards saving Austin’s venues.
– There will be yummy food options available all day, as well as drinks/bar.
All shows will be performed by students of the School of Rock Austin. Students are aged between 9 and 18 and are part of the year-round Performance program, which gives young musicians the opportunity learn through performing in real rock & roll shows in real Austin music venues!
