In Brunch We Trust: Bad Teacher
Brunch isn’t just meal, it’s a lifestyle. If done right, it can be a downright religious experience. Come worship with us one Sunday a month at the altars of film and food as we screen movies that deserve a big screen revisit mixed with mimosas, a mouthwatering brunch menu… and more mimosas.
Our August brunch is dedicated to the hardest working people in the world: TEACHERS! Before the kids come running into your classroom and taking control of your life this coming school year, join us for a screening of BAD TEACHER! Also, don’t forget your school I.D. because we’re giving FREE popcorn to every teacher in the audience!
A lazy, incompetent middle school teacher (Cameron Diaz) who hates her job, her students, and her co-workers is forced to return to teaching to make enough money for breast implants after her wealthy fiancé dumps her.
Oh, and these are “rowdy” screenings, too, meaning we cheer for our favorite characters, dance during montages, and generally love each film out loud along with our fellow fans (but we *don’t* use our phones or carry on noisy conversations — this is still church, y’all).
“Shut the front door!”
