  1. This is the one of best travel tour. Very well guided tour, they offer water and sun screen. The best about the tour guide staff, they educate not only about the city but also about general knowledge of the country related to similar things in Austin. Very decent price, only tickets are cheaper .

  2. What a fun way to spend the day in Austin! Was so much fun riding around on the upper deck! Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining and I learned new things about The area even having lived in Austin for years. Such a fun experience!

  3. We took the final tour of the day today on the double decker bus. It was a hot day, but we sat up top to get the full experience.

I enjoyed the tour very much and appreciate that they provided us with water and cool towels. They even offered little cold water misters and sunscreen.

Overall, it was a bit overpriced – $25 per person for a tour that lasted a little over an hour and 15 minutes – but it is a great way to see the city. Our guide was enthusiastic and cheerful, and her love for the city was very apparent.

  4. Worth the $$. Several tours a day. Rolled up to many Austin landmarks; LBJ library, University of Texas Stadium, infamous University Tower, State Capitol building, Sixth Street, Kurt Cobain’s Frog and many others. Tour guide is knowledgeable and witty n made tour interesting. Friendly staff. Handed out wet towels n ice water to keep us cool during bus ride. Hat recommended!

  5. Who doesn’t enjoy a good Double Decker bus tour?

I was travelling Austin with my mom (awww) and she likes to do a bus tour to get a feel for the city. Luckily, DDA exists – and I say that honestly, since it’s a small businesses that’s just getting started.

We paid the $25 per person to do the full loop, or you can pay more to be able to get on and off again. This is a little high for a two hour tour but it was nice.

The loop was excellent. We saw all of the city, got interesting historical facts and stopped at stops where people would want to go.

Right now, they company only has one bus. Unlike other cities, where hopping on and off happens all the time, you really have to time this one right, as it only will come by about once an hour or so. So it’s less of a hop off and hop on, and more of a hop off and then hop on at a really specific time or you’re kind of screwed.

Still, it’s a fun way to see the city, and as a tour around Austin, I feel like I know the city much better now.
