Lavaca Street Bar, downtown Austin bar, is a staple of the established area of downtown Austin serving beer, food and sports 7 days a week. Stop in and see what we have going on today! Hip sports bar with many TVs, games from Skee-Ball to air hockey & eclectic. Po’ boys & tacos.

  1. Great Sports Bar. Lots of TVs and the back section is really dark. They have pool tables. There is a separate food place attached to the inside of the bar so they work together. The food is amazing. Great drink specials and the bartenders are great at remembering the regulars.

  2. Great bar in Austin. I work just down the block from the bar and it is one of my favorite places to go have a drink after a stressful day at work. I love walking into a neighborhood place where everyone knows your name. Great place to go if you are in the hospitality industry, as most of the customers are also in the industry.

Will continue to come as long as I am in Austin.

  3. Great little sports bar downtown. They have a ton of TVs and tables, and a few Skee ball machines. Great food from Turf and Surf; it might seem expensive, but that’s because every meal comes with enough food for 2-3 people. Take my word for it, order less than you think you’ll need. If you are still hungry, food comes out fast anyways. Great for a good football night.

  4. Solid sports bar located downtown. This is something surprisingly hard to come by in the city-center. This place has a ton of TVs a good bar and some great food. If you don’t try the nachos here you’re selling yourself short of the full experience. They also have a ton of ski-ball machines in the back room which is perfect for a little friendly competition. Not to mention you can play while still holding your beer! Looking forward to the upcoming football season to frequent this place more often. Cheers and don’t forget to tip your servers!

  5. My home away from home bar ( Wisconsin Badger bar of Austin). Lots of Tvs, cheap drinks, great bar staff that is always attentive. Nice open doors for air to flow through so stinky bar farts can’t stick around. Plus I saw ski ball in the back which is sweet! One of my favorite bars to stop at.
