  1. This attraction was so fun, interesting and entertaining. Also Johnny drop used to live in a studio apt here. So also kinda awesome

  2. The guided tour part was the best! Our guide was well versed on everything and funny! The perfect showman! The show at the end was entertaining and I’d go back again just for him!

  3. Super cool museum, my kids loved it. The people who work here are so friendly and helpful!! Not only were they great with my kids they made all the stories super engaging. If your kids like mysteries, a little spooky, the Weird TX book this is for them. Probably ages 10 and up, but as a mom I loved it too. Great fun

  4. As described in the name, it’s weird! Lots of animal mutations to look at, shrunken heads, skeletons and stuff like that in the museum part.

The fun part is going back to the guided show. Sal asked me to hold a crystal and picture someone (anyone) and then asked another girl to hold one but picture a place. Then we wrote them on paper, folded them and passed to another guest. Then they were lit on fire.

Sal then proceeded to write the place where the other girl wrote down and then write the name of the person I had written. Super cool and I’m still trying to figure out how he did it!

  6. Very fun place if you’re into slightly creepy stuff. The freak show part was pretty impressive!

  7. Freakin’ awesome weirdness! Mummies, wax movie monsters, THE iceman, instructions on how to shrink a head, side show oddities, stuffed two headed farm animals and things hung on every inch of the walls and stuffed into every corner of the narrow hallway they use as the “museum”.

Get your photo taken in the grips of a life sized King Kong! Big foot enthusiasts will love the foot cast collection. Lots of t-shirts out front. Most of them in youth sizes though. A nice history of haunted Austin in case you wanna go check out the local haunts.

This is a very cool way to spend an hour. I will mention it to friends next time we visit Austin.

  8. As expected for the most part, with a intriguing act put in by a preforming artist for the “Freak Show” finale.

    Concerning the curios & oddities.

It consisted two very well preserved mummies, information about the elusive East Texas big foot as well as a few interesting taxidermy and specimens as well as a few wet specimens oddities.

We got a kick out of the furry fish and the skull collection.

The Ice Man was hard to distinguish because it appears that the ice has melted at some point, probably outage.

My favorite part of our visit was Jon T.Rex.

He was really a cool dude,he reminded me of Tommy Chong.Tommy Chong also reminds me of my dad so naturally,I thought he was the bees knees.

He gave a shocking performance to say the least..
Excellent mutant powers were displayed and I as well as our audience was extremely impressed.

    Bring cash.
